Thought for the season

Welcome to this page:

I never stop being amazed at how fast the days go by, you seem to have only just finished
coming through the Christmas and New Year season and now we are coming out of Easter.
Being someone who loves the Lord gives some real meaning to these special dates and days, sadly for many
it is just another excuse for a holday and a break from work. However the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus
needs to be well remembered by us that know and walk in relationship with the Lord. Jesus is the one who gives real meaning to life,
knowing that He is there for us at all times brings a strength that no one else can give,

As I listen to people talk and speak about their lives you hear them speak of how they often feel alone in their situation.
Knowing and following Jesus does not stop us having difficult times, but having Jesus alongside enables us to cope better.

I often think of the story of Jesus coming to the Discples in the midst of the storm and speaking peace to the storm. When we know Him as
our Prince of Peace it makes it easier to believe for His peace to be with us as well.

Let me share a short passage of scripture with you ;

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

This Jesus peace is the best kind of peace, and there is more than enough for all of us.
Yours in the Masters service
